Letting It All Go
Sometimes life gets you down or you feel a little exhausted and burnt out and you need a little pick-me-up to help calm and heal yourself. This is an easy way to get your natural energy back in alignment and help clear the crazy party of thoughts in your ping-pong brain.
This is a technique I teach all the time and use myself when necessary or when I’m feeling a little drained.
Make yourself comfortable lying down with a light rug - but don’t fall asleep!
Take a deep breath, hold here for three seconds and blow it out slowly.
The breath will help to relax your whole body, and you will start sinking into the floor, becoming peaceful. This may require a few breaths.
Keep your eyes closed and while doing number 5, visualise yourself relaxing.
By relaxing and releasing each part, start at your toes and move upwards to your head.
Follow the flow (in and out) of your breath and start to count at the end of each breath, from ten back to zero. Completely relaxing, LETTING GO (process) and LET GO NOW (end result).
